Will this make my engine overheat?
Anything placed ahead of your radiator will naturally raise engine temperature and reduce airflow—that’s simple science. After two years of testing across off-road and highway conditions using our own vehicles, we engineered an insert that maintains optimal airflow while shielding vital components and enhancing your Jeep’s look. You might see a slight temperature increase of about 5–7 degrees, but we’ve had zero reports of overheating since day one. No matter what you install, always keep an eye on your engine temperature to stay safe on every drive.
Installation:
Installation for JK and JKU models is quick and requires no drilling. Start by removing the pins holding your grille, pull it forward about two inches, and carefully drop the insert in place—just make sure it doesn’t rest on the sensor in the lower right corner. Once positioned, reattach the grille and replace the pins. The fit is snug, keeping your insert secure while driving.

We craft every insert from rust-resistant perforated aluminum and finish it with a UV-cured, high-performance enamel and clear coat for maximum durability. Just like your Jeep, it may pick up minor chips or show slight fading over time—that’s part of the adventure. Thanks to our UV-curing process, the colors are built to stay bold and bright for up to ten years.
If you ever notice a problem, reach out to us right away so we can make it right. For those in snowy climates, extra wear from salt and sand is expected, but don’t worry—it’s covered! Simply send your insert back, and we’ll replace it with the same model and design once the original is received.

Grille inserts are custom made products and are not available for returns/exchanges. Please see us return policy for further information.
*All grille inserts are made in the United States. We use a third party to make and ship your Jeep Grille Inserts. The third party provides a lifetime warranty with their product.
