Any item positioned before your radiator can slightly raise engine temperature and limit airflow — that’s just physics. After two years of real-world testing on both off-road and highway vehicles, we developed an insert that balances airflow efficiency with protection and style. You might notice a small increase of about 5–7 degrees, but we’ve had zero reports of overheating since launch. No matter what you install, always keep an eye on your engine temperature for safe driving.

Installation for JK and JKU models is quick and requires no drilling. Start by removing the pins holding your grille, pull it forward about two inches, and carefully drop the insert in place—just make sure it doesn’t rest on the sensor in the lower right corner. Once positioned, reattach the grille and replace the pins. The fit is snug, keeping your insert secure while driving.

Not only do we use rust-resistant perforated aluminum, but we also use UV-cured high-performance enamel and clear coat for protection.

Just as your Jeep may develop rock chips and some fading over time, your insert should also wear the same.  Due to the UV curing process, the colors should stay vibrant for up to ten years! Should you experience any issues, please contact us immediately so we can rectify the situation.

For our friends in states where it snows, you will experience more wear and tears from the sand and salt on the winter roads.  Don't panic though, it's covered!  Simply send it back to us and we'll get a replacement out!
