Maluna ChillCheck™ Thermometer Drain Plug Disclaimer
The Maluna ChillCheck™ Thermometer Drain Plug is designed specifically for Maluna coolers but is compatible with several hard-sided cooler brands. Different brands may mold their drains differently, so the alignment of the drain plug may vary. While only one gasket is required for sealing, using a combination of the two gaskets provided with the ChillCheck may assist in indexing the plug for better alignment. However, due to variations in molding and plug indexing processes, the thermometer's display may not always align perfectly (i.e., the screen may not "clock" straight) once installed.
Power Sensor Sensitivity: The ChillCheck™ power sensor is designed to respond only to the skin of your fingertip. Using a fingernail, another object, or a gloved finger will not activate or toggle the device.
IMPORTANT: For optimal performance, your finger must be clean, dry, and free of oils. The sensor is sensitive to any obstructions, so if you're having trouble, try wiping your fingertip with a cloth or cotton fabric to remove oils or debris. This sensor may take a little time to get used to, but with proper use, it will work as intended.
