Bilstein's B8 Series Shows the Tundra's Real Off-Road Potential - Goats Trail

When Toyota unveiled the third-generation Tundra for the 2022 model year, it marked the biggest evolution in the truck's history. 

Gone was the tried-and-true V8, replaced by twin-turbo V6 options, including a hybrid variant. But the real game-changer for suspension enthusiasts was out back.

Toyota ditched the traditional leaf springs in favor of a multi-link setup with either coil or air springs, depending on trim level. This wasn't just a change for the sake of change, as the new design allowed engineers to mount the shock absorbers outside the frame rails.
