Arctic Cat 2027 Snowmobile Lineup: New Models and Gear
Arctic Cat's 2027 Snowmobile Lineup: Legendary Names Return
Arctic Cat revealed its 2027 snowmobile lineup on February 19, and it leans hard into the brand's history. Classic names return, electronic power steering spreads further, and a new suspension debuts. Here is what riders should know, plus gear to match your sled.
The big story: Jag, El Tigré, Bearcat, and XF are back
Several historic model names return with new technology. The crossovers that were previously called Riot are now XF, and Jag and El Tigré return on trail sleds. The lineup spans trail, crossover, mountain, utility, and touring riding.
Trail: Jag 400 and Jag 400 Sno Pro
The Jag 400 is an affordable, sporty trail sled with a 397cc single-cylinder engine making 65 horsepower and a 121-inch Hacksaw track. The all-new Jag 400 Sno Pro adds a 40-inch ski stance with a sway bar, AC5S shocks, and an uncoupled Slide-Action rear suspension.
EPS goes further
Arctic Cat introduced two-stroke sleds with electronic power steering on select 2026 models and is now expanding EPS deeper into the 2027 trail lineup. The system is meant to reduce steering effort, dampen feedback, and improve precision.
Crossover: New Cross-Action II rear suspension
The crossover lineup gets Arctic Cat's Cross-Action II rear suspension, a new system for the XF models.
Utility: The Bearcat returns
The Bearcat name comes back with the Bearcat LT on the Catalyst chassis, positioned as the first two-stroke utility sled with EPS for better low-speed handling when hauling or towing. Engine options are the 600 and 858 C-TEC2, with a 154-inch Cobra track. A Bearcat 400 LT joins the lineup with a 397cc single.
Touring, youth, and entry-level
• The Pantera touring lineup returns, led by the Pantera 9000 with a turbocharged 998cc four-stroke triple and the Pantera 7000 with a 1049cc naturally aspirated triple.
• The youth ZR 120 and ZR 200 continue.
• The Widescape WS 250 remains a niche entry point for winter recreation.
Ordering and warranty
Riders who committed early during the Spring Guarantee Pre-Order event, which ran through March 23, could get extended warranty options, free EPS upgrades, and up to $800 in Cat Cash. Arctic Cat also lists extra coverage for any 2027 sled purchased before December 15, 2026. Check with your dealer for current terms.
