The Offroad Wrecker Games 2024 are shaping up to be an epic event for offroading enthusiasts. Taking place March 14-16 at Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane, Utah, the games feature your favorite YouTube personalities competing in offroad challenges as well as wrecker competitions.

Must Have for Any Fan:

Event Schedule and Highlights

The Offroad Wrecker Games kick off on March 14th and run through March 16th, with competitions and activities scheduled all three days.

Some of the key events to look forward to include:

• Opening Ceremonies on March 14th at 9am at the event center
• Wrecker dead pull competitions from 3pm-7pm on March 14th and 15th
• YouTuber offroad challenges held throughout the days
• The final YouTuber vs. Expert offroad challenge event on March 16th at 10am
• Closing ceremonies and giveaways on March 16th at 6pm

Your Guide to Getting There

The Offroad Wrecker Games take place at Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane, Utah.

Driving Directions:

From SR 9 State Street in Hurricane, head South on Sand Hollow Road. After about 4 miles you'll turn right onto the Sand Hollow Main Gate Entrance to the state park. Continue to the south end of the park for the event location.

Parking:

All three days of the event you can park inside Sand Hollow State Park for free.

Offroad Vehicle Parking:

Take the exit for 3200 West off of SR-7 and follow signs for offroad and wrecker parking.

Regular Car Parking:

Park at the designated parking on Sand Hollow Road just south of SR-7 or inside the state park. Shuttles from Red Rock Humvee Tours will be available for transportation around the event.

Other Transportation:

Mad Moose Rentals and Red Rock Humvee Tours are both offering discounted rental rates for UTVs, offroad vehicles, and trail tours if you want to ride in style. Use promo code "MORR" for special event discounts.

Lodging:

While camping and hotels are not provided at the event site, there are lots of options in Hurricane and the nearby city of St. George. Check out lodging and RV parking options on the event website.

What Should I Bring?

When packing for the Offroad Wrecker Games, there are a few essential items to remember:

Chairs - Bring lightweight, portable chairs with you. The event will have limited seating available so chairs ensure you'll have a comfortable spot for watching competitions and meet-and-greets.

Supplies - Pack snacks, water/beverages, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and other necessities to stay fueled and protected during long days outside in the Utah sun.

Attire - Dress comfortably for the weather. Trails and seating areas may be dusty so closed toe shoes are recommended. Bring layers as desert temperatures can vary.

Camera - Capture photos and videos with your favorite YouTube celebrities and epic wrecker pull action.

Sharpie - In case you encounter any celebrities, having a marker on hand can score you an autograph.

Event Ticket - Don't forget to print or download your ticket, complete your online waiver and bring proof of purchase!

While chairs, shade tents and basic supplies are key, don't overpack either. As parking is limited, packing light makes navigating between events easier too.

YouTube Meet-and-Greets - Meet your favorite YouTube celebrities like the crew from Matt's Off Road Recovery scheduled meet-and-greet sessions. Goats Trail will be hanging out at the BSF Recovery Tent, stop by and say hello. Don't forget to bring a camera for photos and autographs! 

Sponsor Booths - Major sponsors like BFGoodrich Tires, ARIES Automotive, and ExtremeTerrain will have booths set up where you can check out products and enter drawings.

Vendor Village - Check out rigs, parts, and gear from various offroading companies in the Vendor Village area. There may even be some show specials on products.
